Seattle Design Festival 2016 - Carved From Color
Seattle Washington GGLO Design |
Seattle Design Festival - Carved From Color was an urban living room installation to enliven the Harbor Steps during the Summer of 2016. The installation also happened to occur on the 30th Anniversary of GGLO practice and provided a backdrop to the Step It Up Anniversary celebration. I was part of the design team and helped to repair, fabricate, install and maintain the three urban living rooms in White, Bright Green and Bright Blue from the top to the bottom of the Harbor Steps. The installation was popular for selfies, lunch gatherings and office meetings on the steps and won an honorable mention from the Seattle AIA chapter.
